Small Abstract No. 8 | Painting on Cardboard

This intimate composition unfolds like an architectural fragment or a geological map discovered in a quiet archive.

Within the warm embrace of a textured, natural-toned wooden frame, the artist constructs a compelling dialogue of weight and luminescence on a clean white ground.

Bold, sweeping strokes of charcoal gray, slate, and pale cream cascade through the center, forming a dense and tactile rhythm.

These broad, layered gestures are dramatically pierced by vibrant bursts of golden yellow that peek through the crevices like sudden shafts of sunlight catching fractured stone.

Anchored by deliberate, graphic outlines in deep black, the forms feel at once grounded and fluid, capturing a sense of internal tension and balance.

The organic interplay between the stark monochrome palette and the electric warmth of the yellow invites the viewer to pause and peer closer, revealing a meticulous sensitivity to texture and composition.

Enclosed within its rustic wooden border, the artwork functions as a self-contained universe—a poetic exploration of contrast, structure, and expressive movement.
