Prussian Blue 5 | Painting on Cardboard

There is something quietly magnetic about a work that asks nothing of you but offers everything in return.

Prussian Blue 5 is a meditation on color itself—a contemporary minimalist piece where deep, sophisticated blue becomes both subject and emotion.

Artist Gina Vor has distilled complexity into simplicity, creating a painting that whispers rather than shouts.

What makes this work remarkable is not just its aesthetic purity, but its philosophy. Born from recycled archival cardboard—the forgotten remnants of framing processes—this painting embodies a beautiful contradiction: something precious made from what others discard.

There is poetry in that sustainability, a reminder that true artistry finds worth in overlooked materials.

For the collector seeking authenticity without overwhelming gesture, this miniature scale becomes a virtue rather than a limitation.

This artwork fits into the intimate corners of your world—above a desk where you need a moment of visual peace, in an entryway to greet you with quiet elegance, or as part of a gallery wall where restraint speaks louder than volume.

Small does not mean minor. In fact, miniature artworks demand closer attention; they invite you to lean in, to look deeper, to discover the subtle variations in tone and texture that reveal themselves only upon intimate viewing.

This is the work of a serious collector—someone who understands that art's value lies not in its size, but in the vision behind it.

Signed and authenticated, Prussian Blue 5 is a tangible connection to Gina Vor's artistic practice, a piece worth holding onto as your eye and your taste evolve.
